I sincerely and really do apologize for letting my blog post count dwindle in the past few weeks, and thus, today Id like to make up for the slack in not posting by previewing an outstanding black repaint which would be released sometime next year in 2011, which I am pretty sure, price wise it would be elevated to astronomical proportions: read Shattered Glass and TF classics Henkei Wildrider from a couple of years back. We certainly wouldn't want that fiasco to happen again, now would we?!
TFW2005 ROCKS (Again!)
The awesome reveal that this beautiful Hyper Hobby repaint has seen the light of day on most of the major Transformers related websites is undoubtedly, a watershed moment for those who have been pining for physical evidence ever since it was announced sometime in the middle of the year. BLACK STRIKES AGAIN!!
Knowing the potential madness for all black repaints to become very sought after items after a period of time, I was mindful that after missing out on some previously released 'token' Japanese exclusives, I would not have to endure another episode of missing out on this type of item ever again! Que the savior that is none other than Bodhar2000! He has once again delivered when things matters the most in terms of scouring all over the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan for those really hard to find and limited quantity toys. Get your orders in ASAP! Just email your friendly seller and all round ace of a guy, Bodhar2000 and he'll help you out to get you guys one! You wont be disappointed, and IMHO, the overall feel of colours used, especially the light teal/purple and black/silver and gold highlights just screams classic 'evil' clone repaint. It looks menacing completed with uber-black face and red-plastic piping eyes. Awesome!!

FINAL THOUGHTS!
The concept for repaints all things black isn't exactly all that new, but there are few toy lines which do this so well, apart from well heck, scratch that-- the bottom line is that one might be forgiven to shun this particular toy, especially if one is not a fan of the Animated Line/ toy designs. However, you have been warned! Pass this at your own peril and not to mention an aching heart and wallet! His kick-ass factor is that not only is this a Magazine Exclusive, his back-story and weapon of choice (powered up, by what I presume to be 'Dark' Energon)-- red tinted windows and the stoic colours chosen represent a really excellent repaint of the already awesome good guy Rodimus deluxe figure! It's release is more, much more than meets the eye!! Buy it if you can still get the pre-orders form online stores! A++
