WING SABER TOYZ SPOTLIGHT:- TRANSFORMERS HUNT FOR THE DECEPTICONS:- MOVIE SCOUT CLASS "BREACHER"

Hi there folks! A very good day to my fellow readers from the world over! Again, I would like to apologise for "slacking" off lately and not updating my blog posts as I should have been doing. No excuses needed, however-- the scourge of Jet-Lag and my internal body clock having an "off-day" of sorts as a tiring trip from London has begun to take it's toll physically. But here I am with another random blog post!

MIXTURE OF OLD AND NEW?

I am sure that so far the, to  the keenest of observers-- the recent movie toys,  especially the under-rated "Scout" class designs have been right on the money for most of the discerning of collectors who just want a simple yet fun-- not to mention quality made toy for fiddling. This latest Scout known simply as "Breacher" is no exception. What strikes me the most is the way the designers have wonderfully done to incorporate a mixture of a very modern "Galaxy Force" style head sculpt, which in my humble opinion doesn't belong in the category of  'movie toys', for obvious reasons. Its sleek and "anime" inspired, unlike the tried and now very "insect and bugged-eyed" stylized face designs for most of the movie toys that are clogging up the shelves out there.  Id give the designers top marks for creating an aesthetically good looking mini toy and even more "brownie" points for making this a modern looking robot. Oh yes. A++

SOLID ROBOT  TO ARTILLERY TANK MODE

At first thought, the "odd-ball" fact that a land-based military type alternate mode was chosen to become the partner and "little buddy" for the Voyager Class Seaspray toy is actually pretty fitting--if not cliched' to say the least. However, this minor anomaly aside, as with most of the Scout Class toys, the transformation can be pretty simple yet intricate-- but never dull and always very fun to twiddle ones fingers when bored and feeling like a "quickie" play time.  It's a fun and "cute" but yet "mature" mecha design is really sharp in both modes.
I really love the overall balance between both modes! A++

There is a theory of sorts-- and not to mention the very fact that the "Best Offer" button -- (god bless that very tantalizing option!!) can be occasionally used, that the bargain hunter in you is able to snag some small but invaluable deals off the ever popular online trading place known to the world over as none other than Ebay. Ahh yes, the 2nd movie Scout Class wave for the Hunt for the Decepticons (HFTD) line of awesomely made toys have rather frustratingly failed to make it to our shores just yet. However, all hope is not lost- as, if my assumptions are correct, mass retail for this kickass scout toy will only see the light of day sometime in the early months of either late August to September 2010. I couldn't resist the urge to get Breacher as soon I had seen him being auctioned off for approx $1.00more than the  usual retail price of USD $7.00, but what the heck-- anything to get it earlier than most. Am glad I did, and can be sure of buying another Breacher down the line. you can bet on that!! A++

PEAUGH IS THE BEST!

If there is one solid and very hand-on reviewer for all things Transformers, it has got to be the one and only "Peaugh". I "religiously" subscribe to his YouTube review videos for a quick assessment and review when making decisions as to whether to purchase the latest releases to hit the market. He gets most stuff earlier than one does, and he never makes a review seem dull. I'm  certainly not buttering up to him just for the sake of doing it, but the fact of the matter is, the man knows his Transformers very well-- and who am I to argue?! The video linked to him is his mini-review of the Breacher toy.  Enjoy! A+ Video, man!

FINAL THOUGHTS

Get him ASAP! Totally worth the RM32 to RM40 or US$ 8.00 worth paid for the little guy. A++ and Highly Recommended!!
