Hello guys and girls from the world over! This is your resident nut job  passionate toy collector WSX here once again to present a humble purchase which has cought my attention this past couple of months. The character in question which need no introduction to those who are very familliar with the Marvel Comics brand of Superheros is going to drool over Revoltech No.024 Iron Man  (アイアンマン) Mk.VI!  It's been in the works since last year, and yours truly -although finding out late of it's release, just couldnt let this one slip through my fingers! I just had to obtain it.no matter the cost!

This beauty follows in the footsteps of the previously random- yes I know Kaiyodo does not seem to follow a particular formula/ strategy when they plan on releasing the next (Tokusatsu) or superhero name in their much impressive line of super-poseable action figures that is Revoltech, but this release is for those who, naturally again- wont want to shell out huge amounts of $$ for the bigger Hot Toys 12 -16 inch Movie Accurate Iron Man figures. I digress...but the bottom line is that the pain job on this action figure height Iron Man Mk.VI looks gorgeous- and apprently this has a limited first run of production. It's sold out EVERYWHERE and the only way to get your hands on this model is by going to online to Ebay..but as usual, when sought after hot items are concerned, be prepared to pay a premium price. No quarters given!

Final Say:

This is yet another stellar release from the very talented folks at Kaiyado. I paid a slightly more premium price for him, but the extras that come packed with this version of Iron Man Mk. VI sure is worth the price alone. For me personally, the addition of the 'Repulsor' Ray beams makes the figure look complete and alive, jsut like his on-screen and comic counterpart. Id say that the only minor gripe is that Kaiyado did not include a 'tony Stark' head ala Kyaido Revlotech Batma's Brece Wayne alternate head as an added measure of realism. Nevertheless, positive sales and glowing initial reviews have made this Iron Man MK VI a erally, really desirable toy! Bring on WAR MACHINE! A+

Hi there boys and girls, this is yours truly, Adam  bringing you another one of those random blog post with regards to the "flavor of the day" in terms of yet another Japan-release figure to catch my imagination. 

This type of spotlight  is a first of sorts for me. Blogging about my least understood subject matter of super-poseable Tokusatsu type heroes,  which have been a staple and folk-generational lore of the small-screen since the beginning of the 1950's  era of Japan pop-culturedome brings a slight hedonism  to the mix, if you will. The figure in question is derived from Bandai Japan's successful line of  S.H.  Figure Arts stable of characters. 

Godzilla in 1954's Godzilla. The techniques developed by Eiji Tsuburaya forToho Studios continue in use in the tokusatsu-film and -television industry.

Suitmation (スーツメーション Sūtsumēshon^?) in Japanese identifies the process in tokusatsu movies and television programs used to portray a monster using suit acting. The exact origin of the term remains unknown. At the least, it was used to promote the Godzilla suit fromThe Return of Godzilla.

It's always been a novel, yet sometimes silly notion that these super heroes are merely grown men in over the top and colorful costumes. The notion of playing  "dress-up" to me is actually pretty endearing to say the least. It's corny, and one of the earliest memories of my Masked Rider experience was staying glued to the so-so and cheesy Malay dubbed  Masked Rider Black RX,  during the early 1990's.  Good times.  The mixture of typical action and stunt sequences, and not to mention "cliff-hanger" scenes had my adrenaline and imagination pumping, yearning for more.  It was a pretty expansive and kick-ass eye opener when one was at that impressionable age., let me assure you. I was pretty much glued to most of the Tokusatsu shows shown during that era of nostalgic innocence.

The Kamen Rider Series (仮面ライダーシリーズ Kamen Raidā Shirīzu^?, translated as Masked Rider Series) is a metaseries of Japanese tokusatsu which generally features an insect-themedmotorcycle-riding superhero who fights supervillains referred to as kaijin (怪人^?). FINAL VERDICT

Kamen Rider the # 3rd aka V3, has always been one of my most favorite designs and the updated "remake" looks sharp and sleek by modern design standards. The good thing is that all the special deals available on the market have opened up endless possibilities of not being left out  to purchase one of the most coolest designs ever to grace the collector's hobby circuit. I'll be looking and keeping a sharp eye on any remnant of the V3 made in the local toy and shopping complexes. A++
